Coroner’s Court Relocation
Cumberland Council’s successful delivery of
the new Coroner’s Court facility in
Workington represents a significant
investment in vital public services across
Cumbria, providing modern, fit-for-purpose
accommodation that places the needs of
bereaved families and service users at its
heart.
The Council has created a facility that not
only meets current operational demands—
including multiple courtrooms, family spaces
and improved accessibility—but also ensures
the service is equipped to support the
community long into the future.
Align was pleased to support this success,
providing multidisciplinary design services
and working collaboratively with the project
team to help bring the Council’s vision to life.
