Commercial Agency Team Appointed
by NHS Property Services
Align has been awarded a new contract with the NHS
Property Services and continue to challenge rivals in the
private sector. This contract, spanning across the North
of England, will see the Commercial Agency team deal
with all vacant spaces. After setting up the Commercial
Agency arm three years ago, Align is continuing to grow
the team to support future opportunities.

property portfolios, ensuring maximum
returns are being achieved across their
estates. Monkgate, York, is a prime example
of the types of assets Align’s Commercial
Agency team are now responsible for, as they
continue to grow with over 200 active listings
across all marketing platforms (and growing),
with a pipeline of an additional 50 listings
which are due to go live in the new year.
Demolition of Hewson House:
Align Architects
Demolition works at Hewson House are progressing
on the former North Lincolnshire Council office site.
Asbestos removal will be completed before
demolition, with tree protection measures in place.
A boundary wall building scheduled for demolition
will be replaced with a garden-style wall under a
party wall agreement, while the site’s electrical
substation will be retained and disconnected from
the demolition blocks. Once complete, all buildings
and the large tarmac car park will be cleared,
leaving broken brick hardcore and a secure safety
fence around the perimeter.
